"After the Dance"  18x24 oil/Linen By Anthony A. González

This is 'After the Dance'.  I wanted to paint the model in her costume after her dance.  Color harmony is the key to the painting as I see it, as well as her pose. Attitude might be "I did it and I did it well."  or it might be "I am glad to be done dancing".  

Her 'at ease' pose lends the story credibility as she sinks into the chair, thoughts on her performance and feeling the joy of being done.
